Mission Statement
The Army Medical Department (AMEDD) DoD/VA Healthcare Resources Sharing Program exist to serve our commanders and beneficiary population by identifying and facilitating enhanced collaborative partnerships with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) that lead to mutually beneficial coordination, use, and exchange of healthcare resources between the DVA and AMEDD; thereby, improving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of healthcare delivery operations.
The goal of our website is to inform, assist, and provide a common “real-time” communication mechanism that effectively relays the AMEDD DoD/VA Healthcare Resources Sharing Program interest and activities.
Healthcare Resource Sharing between the Department of Defense, and the Department of Veterans Affairs encompasses a wide range of services and opportunities for collaboration. It is our hope that this website makes current information readily accessible and user friendly.
